What is a CSCS card?
A CSCS card is basically your on-site ID in the construction industry. It shows that you’ve got the right training and have passed the required health and safety test to work safely in your specific role. Issued under the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS), it helps employers quickly confirm that you meet industry standards before stepping onto the site.
Is CSCS easy to pass?
Most people find the CSCS test manageable if they spend a little time preparing. Since it’s part of the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) process, the goal is to check practical knowledge rather than trick you with difficult questions. 5 quick steps to pass the CSCS test: 1. Learn the basic health and safety topics. 2. Practice with mock test questions. 3. Review the answers you get wrong. 4. Revise key signs, hazards, and site rules. 5. Take your time and read each question carefully on test day.
How long does a cscs card last?
